Phil is currently the Director of Safety, Compliance, and Security for Pet Food Experts, headquartered in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He is responsible for distribution centers in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Washington, California, and Colorado. Before his position with Pet Food Experts, and spent over 10 years as the Director of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security at Bradford Soap Works, Inc. in West Warwick, Rhode Island.

Phil has been in the field of environment, health, and safety for over 25 years, which includes global responsibility for facilities located on five continents. In addition, Phil is a certified RBQSA Lead Auditor and has conducted over 350 regulatory compliance environment, health, and safety audits while ensuring that his facilities keep everyone safe and healthy. He has also provided worker’s compensation guidance for his current and prior places of employment, which led to millions of dollars in savings.

Phil attended the University of Rhode Island for three years and earned his Associate of Applied Science degree from Columbia Southern University. In addition, Phil has OSHA 10-hour and OSHA 30-hour certifications and is a current member of the NFPA, NSC, ASSE, and several other professional organizations.

Phil is passionate about our youth and has been a basketball and baseball coach throughout the years. He has mentored many young men and women, through sports, for the past 35 years and will continue to do so in honor of his son, Andrew.
